Eighty-something motorist, an enormous dog in her passenger seat, a cockatoo on her shoulder, a lit cigar in her mouth. Skateboarder with a yoga mat under one arm and a cell phone at his ear. Gentleman in a green loin cloth offering me a “naked bike wash.” God, I love this city.
